About the Teacher

Ms. Keryn Brenzel

My journey began with a love for storytelling. Having studied animation at Montclair State University, I am committed to bringing creativity into the classroom. My experience as a library paraprofessional at Stillman Elementary School has given me an understanding of libraries' essential role in education and allowed me to gain experience managing library resources and fostering a love of reading among students. I have also served as a special education paraprofessional; working closely with students of diverse abilities and learning styles. This experience has strengthened my commitment to inclusive education and equipped me with the capability to adapt and meet the unique needs of all students. In addition, it has inspired me to pursue my Masters of Information with a concentration in School Librarianship at Rutgers University.

As Mackay's Library Media Specialist, I hope to promote literacy and equip my students with the necessary skills they need to successfully navigate an ever-evolving digital landscape.
